Sound Recording Technology — Texas State University
Sound engineer and audio professional with experience in studio recording, live sound, and synthesis. Based in Austin, TX.
About
I'm a Sound Recording Technology student at Texas State University with a concentration in Voice, graduating May 2026. My experience spans studio recording, live event production, and synthesis research.
I've worked alongside engineers at ChurchHouse Studios, ANTIMATTER Studios, and Dogstar Studios in Austin, and supported large-scale live productions including the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair and SXSW.
My capstone project explores the evolution of synthesis across six decades — recreating iconic sounds entirely by ear using Roland Cloud.

SRT Capstone Project — 2026
A sound design and research project focused on recreating 11 iconic synthesizer sounds spanning the 1970s through 2020s — entirely by ear, from initialized patches in Roland Cloud.
Each recreation is documented with process notes, historical context, and synthesis methodology. Sounds were built using Zenology within Roland Cloud. The project also includes a custom JSFX plugin built in Reaper for sound recall and parameter comparison.
